Sweet summertime! The best time of the year, for food at least (don’t worry, pumpkin spice everything falls into it’s own category)! Our fridge is always filled to the brim with all foods summer, so I’m excited to bring you this perfect summery sweet oatmeal. It takes maybe three minutes to make, which means it’s for the day you’re in a hurry, but also the day you’re feeling lazy.
What you’ll need:
1 cup water
1/2 cup old fashioned oats
about 1/2 cup chopped fresh strawberries
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
How to make it:
1. Mix water and oats in bowl and microwave for 90 seconds
2. While oats are cooking, cut up strawberries
3. Add brown sugar, cinnamon, and strawberries to cooked oatmeal. Stir.
