Need more flavor in your life? Wake your dried herbs up with a little rub!

I’m sure I’m not the only one who would love an herb garden (and veggie plot, and fruit trees, and for my backyard in general to always be filled with food). Fresh herbs are great, but sometimes that dried stuff out of the bottle is a whole lot easier to get your hands on. So the big question is, where’s the flavor?

Bringing life back to the dried herbs going into your next recipe is simple. Instead of sprinkling them straight into the pot, rub your ingredients between your fingers to break them up. This helps to release oil left in the leaves, bringing out another dose of flavor.
