I cooked with spaghetti squash for the first time last week and it may have been one of the easiest things I’ve ever made.
I picked up a spaghetti squash at the grocery store, stabbed it with a knife a few times, and threw it in the crock pot on high for 3 hours (it could probably handle 6+ hours on low, too). When it was time to take it out, I cut it in half and used a fork to scrape the insides out. Piece of cake (or squash?)!
I tossed this together with red sauce and some turkey meatballs, but I’m sure it would also be good with foods like olive oil, garlic, parmesan, tomatoes, basil, sautéed mushrooms or peppers, sausage, chicken, Alfredo sauce…. I think you understand.
YUM 🙂 What are you putting on yours?
